Freedom to Believe

How an animated and abstract American flag celebrates our freedom to believe.

Our country has proud roots representing independence, freedom, and opportunity. But there are times we are tested. And things start to feel a bit bleak. Hopeless even.

These are cycle that come and go. Eventually, abundance and calm return. But during those tested moments, we have a symbol to turn to: the American flag.

I saw a reflection in a building's window. The breeze picked up, and the flag waved in the reflection, creating patterns and the stripes shifted.

With this abstract American flag photo, I added the motion of a fluttering fabric in the wind. There's ripples of light as though clouds are passing by. Then I added a light and modern patriotic tune called "One Land, One Heart" by Brightarm Orchestra.
